Matt Wright, hails from Tonbridge, Kent, England.
His first album, over 3 years in the making, was Six Scars Later released on Monday 12th March 2007, on his small, independent label 'Not Your Fault Records'.
Matt said of his first album -
“ ... I am very proud of 'Six Scars Later'. It is a very personal affair, chronicling a great portion of my teenage years; the emotions I've felt, the times I've been through and thus it gives an insight into me and my life. It is something that I feel many others can relate to in all aspects of their lives too.
Of his current project, Darker Than Light, Matt reveals -
“I recorded the album with singer and bassist from Son Of Dork, Steve Rushton as producer. It not only features Steve on guitars, but Louis Davis from Outrage on drums, and on one song, my good friend and guitarist Tom Clark.”
Matt has performed at several significant venues -
“On Saturday 24th March 2007, I was privileged to share a stage with Son Of Dork at Shepherd's Bush Empire and for this I am truly grateful! On Monday, 20th August I am headlining the Midday2Midnight festival at Ministry Of Sound!”
